Triathlon Investment Management offers clients the personalized, detail-oriented attention of a small company along with the expertise and knowledge of a major firm. We offer customized service to a small number of clients, allowing us to build relationships based upon mutual trust and confidence. All investment strategies and risks are well thought-out and well communicated to our clients throughout our relationship as we build and preserve wealth. Often we find that our clients are quite investment-savvy, just without the time or up-to-date knowledge necessary to manage their investments alone.
Simon Cassidy founded Triathlon Investment Management after spending more than 10 years in institutional trading and portfolio management in San Francisco, Toronto and New York. He has performed strategic asset selection, risk management and option trading on funds valued from $10 million to $2 billion. Simon managed a long-short equity hedge fund in San Francisco, and even spent time working on the floor of the NYSE. Before his career in investing, he had success as a professional triathlete. In all endeavors, Simon has found that dedication, discipline and drive are the attributes that have been the most rewarding—both personally and professionally.
